Shaping care with connection: Our latest partnership with Dementia Friendly Barbers

At Aspire Training Solutions, we believe that connection doesn’t retire and care should be full of purpose and activity.

That’s why we’re thrilled to be partnering with Dementia Friendly Barbers and Cordelle Cabey, a collaboration rooted in respect, creativity, and a shared vision: transforming everyday life for people living in care.

Together, we’re bringing human connection to the heart of care home experiences.

Whether it’s a friendly trim or light exercise, this partnership celebrates the small moments that make a big difference. But meaningful engagement goes beyond one-off interactions, it’s about creating an environment where every day holds purpose, movement, and connection.

Empowering care staff through movement and meaning

To support that goal, we’ve developed the Community Activator Care apprenticeship. Designed for Activity Coordinators and care professionals, this programme equips teams with the tools and confidence to lead enriching physical and social activities that truly make an impact.

From chair-based exercises to music-led group games, every session is a step towards stronger wellbeing and social bonds for residents.
