Community Games confirm their partnership

Community Games and Aspire Active Education Group today announced their continued partnership to get more children moving.

Continuing their united mission to create more physical activity opportunities, this partnership will continue to enable the two organisations to reach, engage and inspire more children.

Both Aspire and the Community Games run activities and events throughout the year to engage children in physical activity. The continued partnership will see the two join forces, to provide more opportunities and create greater impact.

Last year Aspire Active Camps, Aspire’s school holiday activity provision, were part of the Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Tamworth and Winter Community Games events, where they engaged with over 5,500 members of local communities promoting physical activity. This year Aspire will once again be part of the Community Games 2023 line up inspiring more families to try sports and become more active.

Founder and organiser of the Community Games Dennis Kennedy said:

“I am thrilled about the continued partnership that we have with Aspire Active Camps. Their presence last year at our Games was fantastic. It is clear that our shared mission to combat inactivity in children is very much aligned and driving forward. We look forward to this partnership continuing to grow for many years.”

Paul Griffiths, co-founder of the Aspire Active Education Group said:

“At Aspire, we believe that physical activity is a vital part of a child’s development, and we are proud to partner with Community Games in our united mission to inspire and engage more children in positive physical activity experiences. We are excited to once again be part of the Community Games events and look forward to continuing our work together to create even greater impact and opportunities for young people to lead active and healthy lives.”

Aspire Active Camps are set to be a part of the following Community Games events:

  • Sutton Coldfield, Wyndley Leisure Centre: July 15th & 16th
  • Tamworth, Castle Grounds: September 9th and 10th
  • Lichfield, Beacon Park: September 16th & 17th
