Theory session
At Aspire Training Solutions, we are dedicated to the growth of our apprentices beyond their regular training hours, because we believe that learning extends beyond standard working rosters.
With the involvement of over 40 spirited apprentices, we plunged into the exploration of verbal and non-verbal communication. The goal? Identifying attitudes and behaviours that foster success and resonate with the sport's ethos, which is all about team spirit, resilience, and fair play!
This was an empowering start to the festival, showcasing that off-the-job hours are just as important for development as on-the-job hours.
For the love of athletics
The journey didn't end with morning discussions. After lunch, it was time for the attendees to get hands-on and feet-ready with the athletic and target games workshop sessions!
With Matt leading the charge into the world of coaching, our talented group got the exhilarating chance to participate in fun-filled games, ranging from Shotput and Boccia to exhilarating archery. These games truly highlighted the diversity and depth of sports—a world where everyone can find something to love and excel in.
Embrace the world of sports
Here at Aspire Training Solutions, we actively chase the mission to show that sports is for everyone—it's an inclusive field where everyone can find their place, no matter their skill level or background. Our Skills Festival embodies this ethos, proving that sports for KS1 and KS2 pupils can be engaging, enjoyable and enriching beyond measure.
Participation in sports teaches us valuable lessons—about teamwork, resilience, strategy, and mental toughness. We wholeheartedly believe that sports catalyses growth and the Skills Festival reaffirmed this belief in the most extreme and exciting ways!
