The tireless work by a revolutionary disability tennis programme in Cheshire has been recognised with a prestigious LTA Tennis Award for the second time.
“More and more clubs are making tennis inclusive so we are really chuffed to have won it again. A lot of people are doing some good out there now and that's great, that's what we wanted.
Who is Susan Morrison?
LUSU was founded by Sue Morrison and Louise Assioun six years ago to provide activity-related products and training programmes for those who work with people with disabilities.
Sue Morrison has coached sports, leisure and multi-activity skills to children and young adults for over 25 years. Nurturing a real passion for introducing and developing a love of sport in players of all ages and abilities. Sue has a genuine commitment to finding unique ways for everyone to enjoy being active.
With qualifications across the field, Sue’s experience spans tennis, fitness instruction, multi-sports, disability sports activities and fitness for children. These fundamental skills have helped her build sporting relationships with people in local schools and sports clubs around the country.
Sue is proud to have designed equipment and activity programmes that have supported coaches to engage a huge variety of people in many different physical activities.
